Utah drops proposed tuition tax credit

SALT LAKE CITY, March 4 (UPI) -- A proposed tuition tax credit for Utah families with children in private school was cut from the omnibus education bill. Sponsors said Tuesday they didn't have the votes to pass the measure at the same time the Legislature is seeking to increase revenues without raising taxes.
