Poll: Almost half in U.S. creationist
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles City Council Tuesday failed to pass a resolution opposing U.S. military action against Iraq. Activists planned to try again later this week to get the controversial resolution passed, although some council members said they had been elected to manage the city and not debate foreign policy.
