Locke: U.S. headed 'in wrong direction'

WASHINGTON, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Washington Gov. Gary Locke said Tuesday night that "in too many ways, our country is headed in the wrong direction." Locke, a Democrat, responded to President Bush's State of the Union address, calling Bush's economic plan "upside-down economics."
