SoCal mom charged for leaving kids alone

PLACENTIA, Calif., Jan. 9 (UPI) -- A California woman faces arraignment Thursday for allegedly leaving her children home alone for three weeks while she went husband hunting in North Carolina. Placentia police said Janet Chen disconnected the phone and television and told her kids -- ages 7 and 4 -- not to talk to anyone.
