Report: Huge advance for Thomas book

WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Justice Clarence Thomas will receive a seven-figure publisher's advance for his memoirs, a newspaper report said Thursday. The memoirs are expected to cover Thomas's life until his confirmation to the Supreme Court in 1991, including the controversy over Anita Hill's testimony during those hearings.
