Houston mayor sits on jury in murder trial

HOUSTON, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Houston Mayor Lee Brown is a juror in the murder trial of a man accused of slashing his 6-year-old son to death. Both prosecutors and defense attorneys say they are confident Brown, a former police chief, will be a fair juror.
