Dec. 17, 2002 at 1:21 PM   |   Comments

WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Federal safety investigators said Tuesday they will take a closer look at weather conditions at the time the plane carrying Sen. Paul Wellstone, D-Minn., crashed. The NTSB also said it appears the pilot was working the radio rather than flying the plane, indicating the co-pilot was in charge.
