Oklahoma killer loses clemency bid

MCALESTER, Okla., Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Oklahoma Gov. Frank Keating has denied clemency for a convicted killer scheduled for execution Tuesday, prison officials said Monday. Ernest Marvin Carter received a death sentence for the 1990 murder of a security guard during the theft of a wrecker from an Oklahoma City auto shop.
