West govs bring old issues to new Congress

HENDERSON, Nev., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Western governors agreed Friday to urge the new Congress to address issues such as fire prevention and energy that had failed to pass this year. The Western Governors Association approved an agenda that included pushing for passage of comprehensive energy legislation and President Bush's Healthy Forest Initiative.
