President George W. Bush was meeting Tuesday with Minnesota interim Sen. Dean Barkley
-- an independent appointed to replace the late Paul Wellstone
-- as the administration pushes a lame-duck, Democratic-controlled 107th Congress to pass homeland security legislation. Barkley's vote could tip legislation in favor of the GOP version.
