Michaud leads in Maine 2nd

BANGOR, Maine, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- In Maine's 2nd Congressional District, Democrat Mike Michaud held a slim lead Tuesday night over Republican Kevin Raye. Incomplete early returns from 46 percent of the precincts showed the state Senate president pro tempore with 53 percent of the vote to 47 percent for Raye, a former chief of staff for U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine.
