Carnahan concedes, GOP gets Senate

WASHINGTON, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Missouri Democratic Sen. Jean Carnahan conceded early Wednesday to Republican Jim Talent. Talent's election signals Republicans will seize control of the Senate, bucking the historical trend for mid-term elections.
