Republican incumbent Simmons ahead in Conn

HARTFORD, Conn., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- In the Connecticut 2nd Congressional District race, incumbent Republican Rob Simmons has 14,754 votes while Democratic challenger Joe Courtney has 11,442 votes. The Connecticut Secretary of State's Office says that's with 16 precincts reporting.
