DC sniper suspects linked to La. slaying

BATON ROUGE, La., Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Police said Thursday that ballistics tests have linked the Washington, D.C., sniper suspects to the Sept. 23 slaying of a woman killed during a Baton Rouge robbery. Police Chief Pat Englade said first-degree murder warrants were issued for John Muhammad and John Lee Malvo, who were in the area at the time of the shooting.
