Court blocks Calif. move to limit ATM fees

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- A federal appeals court Friday blocked an attempt by two California cities to set limits on transaction fees that banks charge for using their automated teller machines. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that such fees are under federal jurisdiction and may not be regulated by local governments.
