Jordan accuses woman of extortion

CHICAGO, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Basketball legend Michael Jordan is suing a California woman for allegedly trying to extort $5 million from him in exchange for her silence about their relationship more than a decade ago. The suit claims Jordan agreed to pay the woman $250,000 the first time she threatened to make their relationship public but then her attorney allegedly contacted Jordan's lawyer and demanded $5 million.
