Poll: Almost half in U.S. creationist
HOUSTON, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Republican Gov. Rick Perry was endorsed Tuesday by Democrat Dan Morales, the former Texas attorney general who lost to Perry's challenger Tony Sanchez in the March primary. Morales said the governor's office "should not be auctioned to the highest bidder," a reference to Sanchez who has spent $58 million so far in his campaign for the post.
