Hurricane Lili strengthens to Category 3

MIAMI, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Hurricane Lili strengthened into a dangerous Category 3 storm with 120 mph winds Wednesday as it headed for the northern Gulf Coast at 15 mph. At 11 a.m. EDT it was located 365 miles south-southeast of New Orleans.
