Iraq war might not be a 'just war'

WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- An invasion of Iraq to depose Saddam Hussein cannot be justified under the "just war" moral philosophy, ethics scholars said at a think forum on Monday at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. One said the Bush administration's "unusual" and "revolutionary" foreign policy cannot be used to support war under traditional "just war" theory.
