Florida man recovering from gator attack

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Sept. 23 (UPI) -- A Gainesville, Fla. man is hospitalized in serious but stable condition after an alligator bit off his right forearm Monday afternoon. Don Goodman, director of Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, was cleaning weeds from a lily pond known to be frequented by the large reptiles when the attack occurred.
