Crude off 92 cents after Bush speech

NEW YORK, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- President Bush's speech to the United Nations Thursday seemed to reassure oil traders that an invasion of Iraq was not imminent. October crude fell 92 cents on the New York Mercantile Exchange, settling at $28.85 per barrel while heating oil and gasoline each lost more than 2 cents per gallon.
