Nevadans vote in state primary

CARSON CITY, Nev., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- The governor and two members of Congress are on Tuesday's primary ballot in Nevada. Gov. Kenny Guinn is likely to win the Republican gubernatorial nomination while Democratic Rep. Shirley Berkely and Republican Rep. Jim Gibbons are running unopposed. Candidates will also be selected in the state's new 3rd Congressional District.
