AGENDA: About 7 percent of school-age children have been diagnosed with AD/HD, a serious medical condition that can profoundly disrupt mood and behavior. The disorder also affects tens of thousands of adults like Knight. Without proper medical help, studies show, sufferers are at a greater risk for substance abuse, teen pregnancy, and academic problems.
