Poll: Almost half in U.S. creationist

BUFFALO, N.Y., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- A federal judge Wednesday refused to accept a plea agreement for a New York City couple accused of helping fugitive James Kopp, who has been charged with the murder of abortion provider Dr. Barnett Slepian, because it was too lenient. "The court finds that the plea agreement should be rejected," said U.S. District Judge for the Western District of New York Richard Arcara.
