West Nile virus kills Ill. man

CHICAGO, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- A 67-year-old man died of West Nile encephalitis in August, the first confirmed death from the virus in Illinois and the 10th nationwide. Public health officials Friday reported three new cases of West Nile virus had been confirmed in the state.
