Katherine Harris replaced in Florida

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Gov. Jeb Bush appointed a new secretary of state to run Florida's elections this fall, as opponents of Katherine Harris, the old secretary of state, continued to make fun of her. Harris resigned abruptly Thursday to run for Congress after learning she was breaking election laws.
