Oregonians clearing out ahead of wildfires

CAVE JUNCTION, Ore., July 31 (UPI) -- Homes in the Illinois River Valley of southwestern Oregon remained largely safe from wildfire late Wednesday though an increasing number of residents were reportedly leaving the area rather than waiting for the evacuation order. Two fires totaling more than 200,000 acres continued to threaten the entire valley.
