Report: Spy says al Qaida eyed Oregon

SEATTLE, July 30 (UPI) -- A British intelligence operative added credence Tuesday to suspicions that al Qaida looked into establishing a terrorist camp in the United States. Reda Hassaine told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer the two suspects who inspected an Oregon ranch in 1999 worked for Muslim radical Abu Hamza and had attended Afghan terror camps.
