Human West Nile case confirmed in Texas

HOUSTON, July 23 (UPI) -- Health officials Tuesday confirmed the first human case of West Nile virus in Texas. A doctor at the Houston Veterans Affairs Medical Center said blood tests indicate a 50-year-old patient has the mosquito-borne disease.
