Jury mulls R.I. mayor case for 5th day

PROVIDENCE, R.I., June 18 (UPI) -- Jurors entered their fifth day of deliberations Tuesday at the corruption trial of longtime Providence, R.I., Mayor Vincent "Buddy" Cianci. The longest-serving mayor in the nation and two codefendants are facing federal charges in a case the FBI dubbed "Operation Plunder Dome."
