Rehnquist: Tribunal rulings flexible

WASHINGTON, June 14 (UPI) -- Chief Justice William Rehnquist told an audience of judges and lawyers Friday that the Supreme Court's rulings on military tribunals show more flexibility in time of war. Rehnquist did not address the Justice Department's current use of Supreme Court precedent to hold "enemy combatants" without trial.
