Young killer whale captured near Seattle

SEATTLE, June 13 (UPI) -- An orphaned killer whale was captured in Puget Sound Thursday by scientists who planned to reunite the 2-year-old orca with its pod later this summer. The National Marine Fisheries Service conceded the operation was risky, but said the animal's best bet for survival was getting it back with its pod.
