'Gloom and doom' fire season predicted

BOISE, Idaho, June 12 (UPI) -- The record-breaking wildfires consuming huge portions of Colorado are likely to be met with more extremely hot weather, prolonged drought and a delayed rainy season, according to federal fire officials. Federal Emergency Management Agency Director Joe Allbaugh met Wednesday with fire experts in Boise, Idaho.
