SLC cops downplaying latest kidnap leads

SALT LAKE CITY, June 7 (UPI) -- Tips continued to pile up in Salt Lake City Friday as police expanded their search for 14-year-old kidnap victim Elizabeth Smart. Police said reports of a suspicious car and a possible sighting of the suspect in a canyon were being explored, but did not appear to be particularly promising.
