Former executive pleads guilty to fraud

SAN ANTONIO, May 15 (UPI) -- The former head of several San Antonio-based investment companies pleaded guilty Wednesday to defrauding 1,200 investors, mostly Mexican and Venezuelan citizens, out of at least $325 million. Jose "Joey" Zollino faces 12 years in prison and a federal judge is expected to order him to pay millions in restitution.
