Arctic drilling said critical to security

DALLAS, April 2 (UPI) -- Supporters of the House-passed energy bill said Tuesday that drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is critical to increasing domestic oil production and strengthening the nation during the war on terrorism. Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham spoke to a Teamsters rally in Dallas to urge the Senate to pass the legislation, which is scheduled to come up for final debate next week.
