March 5, 2002 at 2:31 PM

DALLAS, March 5 (UPI) -- Multi-millionaire Democrat Tony Sanchez' campaign may push spending in the 2002 Texas governor's race to record levels, a political analyst said Tuesday. If Sanchez wins the Democratic gubernatorial nomination next Tuesday and faces Republican Gov. Rick Perry, total spending by all candidates could climb to at least $75 million by November.
