Doomsday Clock: 7 minutes to midnight

CHICAGO, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists on Wednesday moved the minute hand of its Doomsday Clock ahead two minutes to seven minutes before midnight. The Bulletin's board cited what they considered to be too little progress on nuclear disarmament, growing concerns about the security of nuclear weapons materials and the preference of the Bush administration for unilateral action rather than international diplomacy in addressing the issue.
