Calif educators fret English tests

SACRAMENTO, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- A panel of officials from large California school districts warned state lawmakers Wednesday that increasing demands for accountability would be tough on districts with large numbers of non-English speakers. They urged the Assembly Education Committee to account for English learners in state and national standardized test results.
