Coroner rejects request for inquest

GOLDEN, Colo., Jan. 17 (UPI) -- The Jefferson County coroner said Thursday that he would not conduct an inquest into the death of one of the students gunned down in the 1999 Columbine High School shooting. The parents of 15-year-old Daniel Rohrbough believe he was mistakenly shot and killed by a police officer but the parents want a broader investigation than an inquest.
