German jailed in bid to buy arms for Libya

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- A German citizen is being held in a Jacksonville, Fla., jail Friday after his arrest for allegedly trying to sell military airplane and helicopter engines and parts to Libya. Klaus Ernest Buhler, 48, of Dusseldorf, Germany, is charged with two counts of attempting to export military engines to Libya without a license.
