Judge refuses traficant dismissal

CLEVELAND, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- A federal judge Wednesday refused to throw out a criminal indictment against U.S. Rep. James A. Traficant Jr. Traficant, D-Ohio, had filed a motion asking U.S. District Court Judge Lesley Brooks Wells to dismiss the case, arguing the indictment was defective and deficient.
