PITTSBURGH, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- United States Steel LLC confirmed Sunday that, although no agreement has been reached, it is in talks with NKK Corp. of Japan and National Steel Corp. concerning a possible acquisition of National Steel by U.S. Steel. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
