DNA sought in Boston Strangler case

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Armed with new independent DNA tests results, the families of the confessed Boston Strangler and a woman allegedly killed by the Strangler pressed the Massachusetts attorney general to share DNA evidence they believe will prove Albert DeSalvo was not the serial killer. The families said prosecutors know DeSalvo did not murder Mary Sullivan, but refuse to cooperate because they have an agenda to protect the reputation of the attorney general's office.
