Missile defense critics downplay test

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Critics of U.S efforts to develop an anti-missile defense system were doubtful that Saturday's scheduled test-launch of an interceptor rocket would prove much. Michael Levi of the Federation of American Scientists said resources would be better spent on diplomatic efforts to reduce nuclear weapons.
