Early Virginia numbers point to tight race

WASHINGTON, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- With 15 percent of precincts reporting from around Virginia, Democrat Mark Warner holds a slim 51 to 49 lead over Republican Mark Earley. GOP Lt. Gov. nominee Jay Katzen leads his Democrat opponent while Attorney General nominee Jerry Kilgore, appears to hold a commanding lead. The GOP also appears to be on track to pick up seats in the state's house of delegates.
