House passes $100 billion stimulus bill

WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- The U.S. House of Representatives passed a $100 billion economic stimulus package Wednesday designed to jumpstart the economy. The bill, supported by President Bush, would accelerate tax relief and provide tax rebates for low-income workers.
