Governor's school prayer creates flap

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- A religious rights group Tuesday called for a letter-writing campaign to get Texas Gov. Rick Perry to rethink his defense of engaging in a school prayer. The Republican said he saw nothing wrong with participating in the school prayer at a time of national tragedy.
