Inmate executed for killing man at age 17

HUNTSVILLE, Texas, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- A Texas death row inmate was executed Monday for a murder he committed when he was 17 years old. Gerald Lee Mitchell was pronounced dead at 6:25 p.m. CDT after receiving a lethal injection for killing a Houston man during a 1985 robbery.
