Katherine Harris to run for Congress

SARASOTA,, Fla., Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris, a Republican, said Tuesday she is running for Congress from her home district of Sarasota. Harris, who gained national renown for her role in the vote count of the presidential election last year, is considered a virtual shoo-in.
